The Erne Boxing Club founded in 2008 is a cross-community voluntary organisation that has benefited greatly from the support of Citynet Insurance Brokers Limited.

The club is based in Derrylin (a small village in a rural part of Northern Ireland) but has a unique catchment as it pulls in members from all towns across Co Fermanagh and cross border from Co Cavan in the Republic of Ireland.

Despite its rural location the club now boasts a large membership base with 30 registered boxers, 18 young kids (aged 5-10) in their boxing academy and further 10+ mature members attending a keep fit club.

The club has a socially diverse membership base with participants from all sides of the community including socially disadvantaged groups such as members of the Irish Travelling and Foreign National communities.

Rayleigh Boys FC U10 Panthers are a football team based in Rayleigh, Essex who currently play in the North East division of the South East Essex Primary League. The majority of the squad have been together since they started the club development scheme as 5 year-olds. The 2017/2018 season will see them play 9 a-side football matches for the first time.

Liphook United’s Under 14 team played the 2015/16 season in Division 1 of the South Surrey Youth League and have recently won trophies for winning the League’s annual 9-aside tournament.

The team won the Essex Plate Final this season 2015/16 and have come 4^th in the First Division of the Essex U15’s Leagues. They have had 14 players involved in the Saracens/Essex Developing Player Programme this season.

“Broomfield play in the 2^nd Division of the  Maldon and Blackwater League having finished top of the league last season. They remained unbeaten in the league for the entire season only drawing one game.”

NEWMARKET RACES – AN ANNUAL EVENT ORGANISED BY CITYNET INSURANCE BROKERS!

Citynet were delighted to be joined by our underwriting partners at our Newmarket Race Day in June ‘17.

The race meeting has become an annual Citynet event and is something both we and our partner Insurers and MGA’s look forward to in the calendar. This year’s event was a triumph and a chance for us to celebrate another successful year with friends and market colleagues in a relaxed environment away from the office where everyone’s focus could be more on the days racing than insurance and deals.

Citynet’s value to our agents lies in the quality of our underwriting partners so it was tremendous to see so many of them taking a day out of the market to join us. With over 70 people at the event, it must have been a quiet day in the city.

Citynet Insurance Brokers is already planning the 2018 event and is looking forward to celebrating another great year with our market friends.
