Lawrence started his professional journey in the underwriting domain at Cornhill Insurance (now Allianz) before transitioning to brokering. His foray into the Lloyd’s and London markets began in 1990 when he joined Bain Clarkson. Subsequently, Lawrence assumed a leadership role in the Commercial Department at RL Davison Lloyd’s Brokers.

In 2004, he ascended to the position of Chief Executive and Managing Director, steering the RL Davison UK business through its sale to Miles Smith in 2011. Lawrence seamlessly transitioned to Miles Smith as a Director following the acquisition.

In 2013, Lawrence ventured out to establish the non-motor wholesale department for the Wrightsure Group. His professional trajectory continued as he took on the role of Head of Property and Casualty for the UK division at Citynet in 2018 and later he was appointed to the role of Managing Director.
